"I have finally stopped buying amps. What can I say, I'm a tube amp junky. The ValveTech finally cured me of trying to find "the" amp. My ValveTech comes the closest to having everything I was looking for in an amp.

A 22w combo that sounds much louder ,that can stay clean with plenty of headroom and can break up a bedroom levels what more could I ask for.

The P to P hand built quality appeals to my techy side, but the sound and flexibility appeal to my guitar player side. The amp sounds like no other, although can do Mesa, Marshall or Fender when summoned. More importantly if you are looking for a level of transparency that doesn't color you own playing style this is the amp. Get one before the secret's out."

"I got a chance to really wring out the new ValveTech amp at the HFC3 jam last night, conclusion: It ROCKS!

The ValveTech sounded killer, even though I was VERY concerned that the amp just wouldn't be loud enough due to having the lowest power rating (22w RMS) on the stage. My fears were completely gone when I discovered it was certainly loud enough to cover the gig with a ton of headroom.

The ValveTech does have an operating system that is a bit tough to understand (I probably should have read the documentation that came with the amp), but once HFC'er Stung set the amp up, it was nothing short of wicked. The amp has a very smooth distortion section, with a lot of articulation. I think the ValveTech kicked some ass in a stage full of amps that cost twice as much or more.

Bottom line: Go buy one. Read the manual. My experience purchasing this amp was quite good, the builder answered every question that I had, did it promptly, and was quite friendly in the process. I'll be gigging with this one a good bit."

"I have been playing for 30 years. I have had lots of real vintage amps, and newer designed amps. What I look for in an amp is one that can get a good clean to semi-clean to grind to overdrive in a simple to use package. The Valvetech does this.

Its basic design is based on my favorite older amps (Tweed Bassman and Marshall). Just plug in and set a clean sound with the guitar volume down to 6 or so, turn the guitar volume up to 10 you get nice grind and blues tone. Kick in the second channel you got classic rock heaven, all of this with out an OD pedal.

So far My Valvetech 2-12 combo has been on stage with a TopHat, a 50's Fender Tweed Deluxe, a Vox AC15 a Fender Blackface Deluxe, a Soldano, a few Peavey's. It held it's own or outperformed most of the amps mentioned. Most of the other players had to use OD's with their amps to get a nice lead tone, not me, my Valvetech sounded great by itself at low and high volumes.

Valvetech + guitar & cord = clean/blues/rock = tone = happy guitar player. Cool Beans."
